More pictures of our family's farming heritage.
Harvesting ear corn south of Prentice.

A "Johnny Popper" amongst all the Oliver tractors...

This past week I traveled to Chicago where I was a guest of Bayer Crop Science at the annual Top Producer Seminar. It was a great opportunity to strategize with old friends and expand our network with new producers throughout Illinois as well as North America. The picture below is of Jerry Gulke giving the group (600 producers) his perspective on the coming months of the commodity markets. Thank you to Terry Sorgenfrey & Eric Ifft at Bayer Crop Science for making the opportunity possible.

A look at the past...

This many pickers running together was very uncommon at the time. The pictures are of our Adkins side of the family who also owned an Oliver dealership at the time in Prentice. This was their harvest crew with all Oliver tractors except for one Deere (I believe) in the middle.

We believe this picture was taken at the old Adkins home,
which is where Dale & Donna Edge currently reside.

Since this time of year rarely allows for any exciting pictures of current farm work we decided to share pictures of our family's farming heritage. These pictures show the true measure of how much production agriculture has changed over the years.

Check back weekly for new pictures.
